Amazon's super service: full refund

Within two hours of my complaining to Amazon about the Random House book mentioned in the earlier post, I got a note of apology and a full refund. That's a big star on the board for Amazon and makes me feel warm. I think if all buyers take similar action publishers will soon realise that customers expect the same level of presentation and attention to detail that they have been accustomed to receiving when they buy a printed book.
