Marcus Thompson was scuba diving off Vancouver when he found this decidedly dead bit of technology lurking in the depths. He fished it out and later inspected the SD card only to discover that the Canon 1000D had been in Davy Jones’ locker for a full year. Happily, thanks to Google+ he was able to reunite the barnacle-encrusted snapper with its former owner, a firefighter in British Columbia. Warms the cockles of the heart, it does. Watch out for it on eBay.
