Find My Parrot: Tokyo police get their bird

Posted on by Mike Evans

Tokyo police sound like a friendly lot, returning lost and stolen items to their anxious owners in a timely manner. A 64-year-old city woman got back her parakeet after the crafty fowl obligingly told the police its home address. Who needs Find My Mac or, even, Beakbook

The Athens police are also a friendly bunch, just like their colleagues in Japan. In February they got back my stolen goodies thanks to Find My iPad. I don't think the London police would be remotely interested in parrots or Sherlock Apple. Too busy filling in forms and ticking boxes.
