Alan Turing: A multitude of lives in fiction

Posted on by Mike Evans

Great BBC article on Alan Turing and the way in which he has influenced fiction. He was gay, he was persecuted by a bigoted establishment. But he was instrumental in shortening WWII by an estimated two years, saving tens of thousands of lives and untold misery. Along the way he also gave birth to the modern age.

Happy 100th birthday, daddy of the computer.
