Miniatur Wunderland in depth from a train nut

Last week I posted a layman's view of the world's largest model railway, Miniatur Wunderland, housed over four floors of a building in Hamburg's impressive Speicherstadt or warehouse district. My friend and colleague Ralf Meier has now uploaded his in-depth review, this time containing a lot of aroraky information that completely passed by my amateur eyes.
