BusyMac to introduce link between Calendar and Contacts

Posted on by Mike Evans

A link between Mac Calendar and Contacts is so obvious that it is a wonder it hasn't been done before. At its simplest, being able to view a list of past meetings on a Contacts card is an immensely useful feature. BusyMac, already well known and respected for its Calendar replacement, BusyCal, is about to offer the utility.   I am a long-time user of BusyCal and now couldn't work without the added features it brings.

Later this year BusyMac is launching a similar replacement for Contacts, BusyContacts, but with the all-important live link to BusyCal. Personally I can't wait for this. If you would like to get involved you can now pre-register for the public beta test which starts this summer.

BusyContacts will offer a number of useful links to BusyCal, including the ability to record Calendar events directly into the Contacts card
